Liver Cancer Herbal Treatment

Liver cancer is one of the most dangerous and dreadful disease that cause liver and other associative glands damage due to rising of cancerous cells in the affected parts. The 80-90% of the organ is made of liver cells called hepatocytes. Usually the cancer of the hepatocytes occurs most of the time in the liver cancer category. Besides liver, the most affected organs, likely to be most affected are pancreas, colon, stomach, breast and lungs.

The liver cancer occasionally transforms into hepatitis or liver cirrhosis: another fatal diseases.

There are some common natural herbal remedies available in Ayurveda that cannot only prevent the disease but also cure it. Herbal remedies for lever cancer are generally non-toxic, and serious complications or overdose are unlikely.

Astragalus capsules

Take 2 capsules of 500 m.g. or as per physician's prescription of Astragalus capsules three times in a day. Astragalus capsules stimulate immune system cells that attack tumours.

Note: Do not use astragalus if you have fever or a skin infection.

Anti-Liver cancer cells herbs

The berberine found in Barberry, coptis, goldenseal, or Oregon grape root is an excellent anti-cancer element. Take 500 mg of any of these herbs daily to prevent the growth of cancer tumours.

Note: Not recommended for pregnant lady or patients of gallbladder disease.

Lentinan

Lentinan is prescribed to taken through injection. It inhibits the growth of liver tumors.

Reishi

Take three gm of Reishi tablet daily to stop progression of liver cancer cells.

Scutellaria

Take one to two gms. of Scutellaria daily three times in a day to prevent the growth of cancer cells as scutellaria causes death of liver cancer cells and can reduce the damage of immune system induced by chemotherapy.

Note: Do not use in the condition of Diarrhoea.

Essiac Tea

Essiac tea is a useful and popular natural remedy used for preventing the growth of the cancer cells. According to ayurvedic medical practioners Essiac tea stimulate the production of white blood cells.

Note: Do not consume essiac tea in case of having fever.

American Ginseng

American ginseng, (Panax quinquefolium), is a useful therapeutic remedy for cancer patients.

Garlic

Scientists believe that garlic has the property of prohibiting the growth of cancer cells due to containing allicin and alliin (sulphur containing compound). However, further researches are still going on.

Cumin

Cumin, a seed-like fruit of a plant in the family Apiaceae, may aid in reducing liver cancer tumours by apoptosis, or programmed cell death, in hepatoma cell lines.
