  • To avoid carpel tunnel syndrome, it is advised to stay in shape. Keep a close watch on nutrition you are getting and take sound sleep at night.
  • While sleeping don't use your arm as pillow as it might get compressed at wrist and can be a reason for the carpal tunnel syndrome.
  • While working don't do continuous work with your arm and wrists, take some break and allow your wrist and fingers to relax.
  • One solution could be to rotate between the jobs where one can do different kinds of jobs in the same office and save your hands from the overstretching.
  • While working in the office make sure that the furniture is ergonomically designed and you do not have to put extra pressure on your wrists and fingers. Your posture should also be good, as you have to work there for long hours.
  • Grip the things in right way so that you don't have to stretch a part more.
  • Don't work for long hours with your dominant hand and alternate between the hands.
  • Those working on computers and keyboards shouldn't pounce at the keyboard and rather be soft and swift.
  • One can also exercise like stretching to keep his hands flexible enough and avoid the disease.
