Home Remedies for Cough

The disease called cough is very common and so common are the remedies for cough. Cough is body's action throw a substance that is making trouble to the air passage. A coughing action takes place due to irritation in the special cells of air passages.

  • Take a lemon and cut it into two equal halves put some salt and peeper on it and suck it. This will help in reducing intensity of cough.

  • Take one tablespoon of honey and add some pepper powder and take this mixture 3 to 4 times a day. It is one of the highly recommended home remedies for cough.

  • Boil ginger, pepper and turmeric in two glasses of water and take this mixture 2 to 3 times in a day to get good results.

  • Due to expectorant qualities grapes are considered good home remedy for cough.

  • Take one tablespoon of honey, small amounts of turmeric and four to five drops of ginger juice. It is highly referred home remedy for cough.

  • Adding garlic in your daily diet also offer some relief to cough.

Make an infusion of a tablespoon of cuscus grass and four tablespoons of coconut milk before going to sleep.
