  • Make a mixture of equal ammounts of pepper, dry ginger and green cardamom seeds. And consume ½ tsp of this an hour after dinner.

  • One should take a glass of cabbage juice, as it offers relief from the intestinal problems.

  • Paste of 1 tsp of psyllium husks (isabgol) in half cup of fresh yogurt after meals is one of the highly recommended home remedies for dinner.

  • Mildly steamed Lettuce and carrots also known to offer some relief from IBS.
